ABOUT ME

Daniel Torre is a Mexican/Irish visual artist currently living and working in Mexico. Without any background in the art fields, Daniel has been sculpting since 2019 and has honed his technique to become an expert in creating beautiful and unique sculptures that capture the essence of the natural world. His work is inspired by the beauty of nature and the intricate patterns and shapes found in the world around us.
In his studio, Daniel uses different woodworking techniques to carve and shape pieces of wood into stunning works of art. Each sculpture is a one-of-a-kind creation that showcases his  skill and attention to detail. Mainly working in abstract pieces that play with light and shadow, Daniel's work seeks to display the possibility of change both in himself and everything that surrounds him. By shaping wood he tries to force two opposing natures to merge giving movement to a natural rigid material and to question this possibility of change by human intervention and present it as a new object.
With a deep love and respect for nature, Daniel's work allows him to have a personal connection with nature.
